When you think of Iowa, what are things that come to mind?  Did you know that Iowa has 99 counties and 101 courthouses?

Through his project, Iowa Scenic Views by Foot, Tyler Sullivan has taken an incredible journey, traveling across the state, running at least a mile in towns big and small, visiting museums and hidden gems, and even writing poetry inspired by each county he explores.

Tyler visited Stanwood in early 2025 and will be returning in July!

During his program, Tyler will share stories, photos, and insights from his adventures across Iowa, highlighting the beauty, history, and unique character of communities throughout the state.  His work is all about celebrating local places and encouraging others to discover what's right in their own backyard.

This is a great opportunity for all ages to experience Iowa in a whole new way through storytelling, travel, and a passion for exploration.
